What is Microcement?
Microcement is a high-performance cementitious coating composed of cement, polymer resins, mineral pigments, and fine aggregates. Originating in Spain and refined throughout Europe over the past two decades, it has become the preferred finish for contemporary luxury interiors worldwide — used in everything from minimalist Manhattan lofts to high-end European hotels.
What makes microcement extraordinary is its versatility. At just 2 to 3 millimetres thick, it can be applied directly over existing surfaces — tile, concrete, drywall, plywood, even old flooring — without demolition. The result is a seamless, monolithic surface with no grout lines, no joints, and no visible breaks. Floors flow into walls, walls flow into shower enclosures, all in one continuous material.
Properly sealed microcement is completely waterproof, highly durable, and resistant to staining. It can be polished smooth or left with subtle artisanal texture, tinted in any colour, and finished from matte to satin sheen — making it equally suited to industrial-modern aesthetics and warm, organic interiors
